Yakitori
Yakitori (焼き鳥) is a Japanese grilled chicken skewer, typically cooked over charcoal and seasoned with either a savory tare sauce (a soy-based glaze) or simply salt (shio). It is made from various parts of the chicken, including thigh meat, wings, skin, liver, and heart. Chicken thigh meat is used for our yakitori. We developed our own seasoning, which can be purchased separately.
Lamb skewers, known as "Yang Rou Chuan" (羊肉串) in Chinese, are a popular grilled dish originating from Xinjiang, China. These skewers consist of bite-sized lamb pieces, marinated with a blend of spices, and grilled over charcoal or open flames to achieve a smoky, flavorful taste. We cook lamb skewers in Northeast China way.
